The Bugatorium Emporium Newest Additions!

Ok…so my new fascination with the bugs in my yard continues…

Today my bug bionic eye spotted some NEW and exciting flying things that seem to enjoy landing on my plants!  Let me show them to you NOW!
Above...Look at this TEENY little guy on the edge of the flower petal!  I noticed it’s wings and HAD to try to get a photo!
This is called a Syrphid Fly or a Hover Fly or a Flower Fly!

The good news is they don’t bite or sting!

Andthey are considered GOOD BUGS because they like to EAT PLANT SUCKING BUGS that attack the pretty flowers in my garden!

Can you see the almost invisible ‘blur’ below?

If you look closely, you can see the curled antenna clearly, on this barely visible image, of a flying brown moth.
The cute brown moth finally landed long enough on one of my front yard coneflowers long enough for me to get a clearer shot.  It’s pretty cute!
I think the brown moth has a relative hanging out in my my back yard...flitting from black-eyed susan's to coneflowers.

This brown moth is also pretty cute.

I’m pretty sure this bee is loaded with a couple of sacks full of yellow pollen!

I blew the photo up a bit and it LOOKS LIKE the bee is collecting STARS OF POLLEN!
